About the 3D Digital Twin Campus of TU Darmstadt

The early stage of the 3D Campus project, dubbed Magical AdvenTUre, involved setting up a rally that motivates players to explore the campus and learn about different key locations.

In early 2023, High Vision utilized drone technology to meticulously capture the Lichtwiese campus in high resolution. Incorporating a segment of this data into the 3D Campus project is a forthcoming endeavor.

Our Vision

At the core of Darmstadt is TU Darmstadt, a recognized institution for innovation, culture, and academic excellence. Observing the growing trend of digital interactions and the need for accessibility for our prospective students, we initiated a project to digitally recreate our campus. The 3D Digital Twin Campus aims to provide a close-to-real experience of our expansive landscape, connecting the virtual and the real.

Why a Digital Twin?

Choosing a university is a pivotal decision, influenced by not only the academic offerings but also the campus environment. While not everyone can visit in person, a preliminary virtual exploration could be beneficial. Our Digital Twin provides:
